Siemens Vectron Serbia Cargo
On 24.05.2018 Srbija Kargo and Siemens signed an EUR 32 million contract for the purchase of a total of eight Vectron locomotives. The company has opted for the MS variant of the locomotive, which will enable cross border operations. In December 2018 a second batch of eight was ordered.
Both orders will be financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and are related to a tender dating back from 2010.
