Romanian freight operator Cargo Trans Vagon (CTV) owns three Transmontana locomotives. The last one was delivered at the end of 2020 and represented the v3.0 of the Romanian-built locomotive. Today, we look at one of the older locomotives with the original Transmontana cabs. The reason? A new livery wrap!
Transmontana 480 007 was built way back in 2017. As seen in a recent ‘News in brief: Locomotives’ edition, the locomotive now sports a colorful new livery. The design follows the aesthetics of what we saw previously on CTV’s newest electric from Softronic: Transmontana 480 051. This time, Romania’s Bucovina region is in focus with a colorful collage on the locomotive’s sides.
Mihai Calinescu brings a snowy, December view from the line between Bucuresti Baneasa and Pantelimon in Romania:
As mentioned above, CTV owns three Transmontana electrics:
- 480 007 = 91 53 0480 007-0 RO-CTV = LEMA 007 / 2013;
- 480 011 = 91 53 0480 011-2 RO-CTV = LEMA 011 / 2014;
- 480 051 = 91 53 0480 051-8 = LEMA 051 / 2020.
