A double premiere today; For the first time, a RTB Cargo Vectron arrived in Belgium. And the first locomotive to do so, was brand new 193 564 with its Euregio design – straight from the workshops.
The fresh stickers depict three main cities in the ‘euregio’ Maas-Rhein / Maas-Rijn / Meuse-Rhine. A theme that is combined with RTB Cargo’s standard layout for its blue Vectron. Therefore 564 matches 193 791-793 from 2018-2019.
The slogans differ on both sides: ‘Wir verbinden die Euregio’ (German) vs. ‘Wij verbinden de Euregio’ (NL). Laurent Joseph caught the machines in Visé Haut today:
