Last month, HVLE announced the authorization of its EuroDual locomotives in Germany. Now ELP can state the same. It’s six-axle dual-mode machines, of which at least five are now in Germany, can be placed in service.
The approval of the EuroDual by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) marked an important step towards the successful launch of the hybrid locomotive in Germany, of which ELP now has 40 machines on order. Indeed 10 more as stated before. The successful authorization for Germany made ELP decide to ten more EuroDuals.
