VRS DE18
The DE18 is a highly standardized, modular diesel-electric locomotive developed by Vossloh locomotives in Kiel, Germany. The DE18 is the most powerful version of Vossloh’s fifth-generation locomotive range with a mid cab design, a range that comprises of the diesel-hydraulic G6/G12/G18 and diesel-electric DE12/DE18. The DE 18 has an MTU diesel engine with a 1.8MW power rating (hence the name).
