[locomotive] Another year has passed – Here is the real Toshiba HDB800!

Railcolor News last wrote about Toshiba’s HDB800 hybrid centre cab locomotives in August 2023. One year later, we can finally show you the first tangible results of the multi-year cooperation between DB and Toshiba. These are pictures of the first HDB 800 locomotives, a new type of centre cab shunting/light-duty locomotive with two diesel engines and rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for energy recuperation/storage.
