On 14.03.2022, Hitachi Rail Italy in Pistoia delivered Frecciarossa 1000 n.58. It was the last one for Italy before production shifted to similar high-speed trains for Spain. More than two years later, the production of units for Trenitalia has restarted with this first unit of what we will call ‘the second series’. What has changed?
