Back in April, Railpool’s 186 285 was on tests in Slovenia, from where it was transported to Croatia, by Train Croatia locomotive 400 173.
285 was then stored in Zagreb Resnik for about a month and a half, before starting trials. The initiator for the tests in Croatia was Eurorail Logistics, closely related to Train Hungary Magánvasút, as both companies are part of the Grampet group.
Just once, we have seen the locomotive on the move, running light between Zagreb and Ogulin.
A 186 in Croatia; not the first time
Back in November 2010, CB Rail 186 240 visited Croatia. It was used for testing the new Bombardier-installed ETCS and GSM-R on some lines on the Croatian railway network.
