Since March this year, the first three of HVLE’s uniquely-styled EuroDuals have been actively engaged in commercial services across Germany. Now, it’s time for a fresh fleet reinforcement coming from Spain.
On 25.11.2020 two brand-new locomotives were spotted at Barcelona’s Can Tunis Yard (159 004 and 005). From there, they were be transported to the French border with a series 252 EuroSprinter of Renfe Mercancías. Interesting is that the locomotives travel from Valencia to Barcelona by truck, with the locomotive’s bogies being transported separately.
On 18.12.2020 four machines in total arrived in germany by rail where Railadventure 4185 011 took over. Later the machines were seen behind hvle’s 246 001.
