In October of 2019, we announced that Railpool was planning to release a second 151 series electric in a unique design. This has now come true – 151 075 is almost ready to go, the wrap is done, we have some first shots from the Dessau workshops:
It is still hard to see how the gradient will work out. So as a reminder, the design proposition from last October. Mathias Oestreich came up with the idea to combine the classic DB design from the 70s (‘Elfenbein-Ozeanblau’) with Railpool’s current silver design. And, it must be clear, Railpool would like to sell many of its 151 series electrics.
It will be the second electric of this type in a Railpool design, the third machine overall. Previously Railpool presented:
