Last week we showed you a 6-car set, this article features unit 9451 – an ICE4 high speed train that will have 13 coaches in the future. The set is currently being used for pantograph testing.
It will not only be longer, it will also be faster. With a 11.55MW power rating the 13-car units will have a top speed of 265 km/h. 50 units are on order – and the first are scheduled to enter service next December.
