Unleash the new generation! On 19.09.2024, the first three Alppiercer 3 locomotives were officially released. 193 540, 541, and 542 went to Cologne together. On 23.09.2024 – another five followed, which will be leased to the Rail Cargo Group, for now). On 25.09.2025, more machines travelled from Augsburg to Basel together. At the end of November, all 20 machines were ready to go. Five machines were released without stickers.

They are named after landmark buildings in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Austria. In total, 20 machines will be delivered in the next months – 193 540-549 and 193 451-460. Locomotive 193 451 is slightly different, as it is the 1500th Vectron made – hence the extra numbers next to the cab doors. 193 543 will also look different, as the #BorderlessSwissQuality logo is on its sides.
