We teased it recently, but we can now see the real thing out and about! The first Arenaways ATR220 is now on track in its brand-new livery, designed by Railcolordesign.
ATR220 036, named Ammari, is the first ex-Trenitalia TPER DMU to receive the new livery in Sermide (IT) in early December. Our design team already presented the livery at InnoTrans 2024 during a special event with Arenaways.
The design features large stylized Arenaways logos on the front, which, combined with ‘masks’, create a sporty look for the otherwise modest regional train. Special areas for bikes and people with reduced mobility are distinctively marked with different colours. This is all finished with a friendly smile at the front, giving the train a welcoming face!
P.S. This is Railcolordesign train number 250!
On 14.12.2024, Arenaways officially picked up the train in Sermide (IT) and drove it south via Bologna. Over the following weeks, more units will arrive in Arenaways livery before their introduction in late January 2025.
