New Alstom’s BEMUs for the RE 6 Chemnitz-Leipzig line were ordered in February 2020 but have not yet been delivered, and further delay is expected. Transdev Regio Ost—under the Mittledeutsche Regiobahn brand—is anticipating arranging alternative rolling stock:
