Lately, rolling stock manufacturer Patentes Talgo from Spain has become the subject of a (political) game about potential (unwanted) partners for the company to secure its future. The latest development is that Škoda Transportation Group wants to be an industrial partner for Talgo, on request by CriteriaCaixa, to counter an attempt by Hungarian holding company Ganz-MaVag to acquire the Spanish manufacturer.
