Beacon Rail is taking delivery of the first Vectrons from a 10-locomotive order placed in 2023. They are also the first Vectrons of the 7193 series, still designated X4E at Beacon. They are now entering service.

By acquiring MRCE, Beacon Rail inherited a large fleet of Vectrons. It currently has 160; with the delivery of this order, their number will rise to 170. 25 more were announced last month. The first locomotives produced of the 2023 batch are 7193/X4E 800 and 801, the first Vectrons in a new standard Beacon livery, with a blue nose and yellow logos and lettering (making them look different from X4E 639).
Premiere on the BWE express
Like X4E 639 a year ago, X4E 800 made its first appearances on the BWE express, i.e. trains between Berlin and Warsaw operated by PKP IC and DB Fernverkehr:
