At Innotrans 2024, Nexrail and Stadler Valencia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration on developing next-generation dual-mode and hybrid locomotives for European and UK rail freight markets. The intention is to create electric locomotives (catenary) with an alternative drive system for non-electrified track sections, thus ensuring uninterrupted service across diverse routes.
