Two modes, two operators. Since 2023, both Locon and Schienen Güter Logistik are part of EP Logistics International, making the German companies siblings. A new design is out making the sister/brotherhood visible:

The basis is the very new Northrail 248 085, recently delivered by Siemens. In the Locon fleet it is locomotive 425 – as seen on the roof:
Railcolor re-created the Locon design of the Smartron and adjusted it to the Vectron Dual Mode locomotive, requiring only minor changed. For SGL a new Vectron-compatible design had to be created including all SGL-typical elements with core values and logos:
248 085 is the second locomotive we have created for Locon and its mother/sister companies. In 2023 we released Smartron no. 192 060 in Locon/EP Cargo split design:
