On 21.07.2024, dynamic tests with a CD ComfortJet in Hungary were completed. Soon, these trains will be a regular presence on Hungarian tracks:

The ComfortJet set, consisting of five coaches including a driving trailer, arrived at Rajka’s border station in the early hours of 15.07.2024, pulled by 6193 125, which LTE leased from Railpool. It travelled via Hegyeshalom-Györ to the Museum of Railway History in Budapest, where it was overnighted.
The Siemens Vectrain was composed of the following coaches:
- CZ-CD 73 54 20-90 001-2 Bdmpz;
- CZ-CD 73 54 20-90 101-0 Bmpz;
- CZ-CD 73 54 84-90 001-5 Bbmpz;
- CZ-CD 73 54 85-90 019-6 BRmpz;
- CZ-CD 73 54 19-90 001-5 Ampz;
- CZ-CD 73 54 80-90 019-1 Afmpz.
All the coaches are equipped with UIC standard high-performance KE-PR-Mg Ⓓ brakes, UIC and DB type electro-pneumatic brakes, and emergency brake override systems. Each car’s braked mass is 125 tonnes. The maximum permitted speed is 200 km/h, except for the restaurant and the driving trailer, which are qualified for 230 km/h.
LTE, in cooperation with MÁV and Siemens, carried out daily trials to test the compatibility and functionality of all on-board systems according to the following schedule:
- 15.07: Transfer from Rajka to Budapest via Hegyeshalom-Győr;
- 15/16.07: Thales axle counter test between stations of Rákos and Pécel;
- 16/17.07: Siemens WSD system test. Departure from Railway Museum to Martonvásár and back (line 30) via Ferencváros-Budapest Kelenföld-Budafok-Érd-Tárnok and back;
- 17.07: Set recovered at the Railway Museum of Budapest;
- 18.07: Thales axle counter test between stations of Rákosrendező and Vác (located on line 70);
- 19.07: Testing of 75 and 400 Hz rail circuits and safety relays on line 70 between stations of Rákosrendező, Vác, and Göd;
- 20.07: Set recovered at the Railway Museum of Budapest;
- 21.07: Transfer from Budapest to Rajka on line 1 via Győr-Hegyeshalom.
By the end of 2024, commercial services with ComfortJet should start (in the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Austria, and Hungary).
