Earlier in 2023, we reported that the first bodyshell for the new ČD ComfortJet rakes had left Siemens’ facilities in Vienna. It was taken to Ostrava for further assembly by project partner Škoda. In September 2023, the first intermediate cars arrived at the VUZ Velim test centre. The first driving trailer left the factory one month later – time for an update!
