[passenger] VR Group concludes its acquisition in Sweden – MTR Express becomes VR

VR completed its acquisition of MTR Express’s long-distance train operations on 30.05.2024. Passenger traffic between Stockholm and Gothenburg will continue, and all approximately 130 MTR Express employees will become part of VR’s long-distance operations.
