Poland has a new government, which is much more pro-Europe. So, it is no surprise that they want to improve the relationship. What better way to do this than with some nicely decorated locomotives, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Poland joining the European Union:
On 28.04.2024, Griffin EU160-020 received a new wrap showing the blue EU flag with red fronts. On both sides, the inscription ‘20 years of Poland in the European Union’ was applied (on one side in English and the other in Polish) with the logo of the railway company and the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland.
On 08.05.2024, the same colour scheme was also applied to the Griffin EU160-012:
