[passenger] The diesel-LINT is no more – Alstom has stopped production after 23 years

The era of the Lint has ended. Well, the era of the diesel-Lint, that is. After 23 years, Alstom in Slazgitter has officially completed producing one of its most successful passenger train designs. The final unit was a class 1622 DMU for Hessische Landesbahn (HLB). The Braunschweiger Zeitung has an excellent report.
