[passenger] In the picture: Talgo ICE-L testing on the Austrian network

With the upcoming Talgo 230 / ICE-L for DB Fernverkehr set to make its debut later this year, tests are still in full swing. In November of 2023, the first network tests started on the German network, with them recently commencing on the Austrian network as well. 

Like in Germany, the tests were operated using a RailAdventure ES64U4 locomotive (this time 183 500 was used). Herbert Pschill caught the consist in Kleinreifling (AT) on 25.1.2024:

A few days later, an ICE-L rake was seen in an exciting convoy consisting of WLC 1216 950, Siemens 193 768, and Siemens 193 400 heading to St. Valentin (AT) from Munich (DE):
