[DE] Bayern: DB Regio takes over RE2 from Länderbahn – Alex E183 for sale – ES64U2 enter service

One of Germany’s most curious regional operations is set to shrink significantly at the timetable change in December 2023. Länderbahn’s Munich-Regensburg/Hof trains will be taken over by DB Regio, using other types of trains. We must say goodbye to several E183 class EuroSprinters, and EuroRunners will move elsewhere.
