On 15.06.2022, Sangritana signed a financing agreement to purchase two DC3 TRAXX electric locomotives and the third EffiShunter 1000 diesel locomotive. The latter one was delivered in July 2023. That same year, Alstom in Vado Ligure completed the two Traxxes, but their delivery got delayed:
