[NL] Update: Dutch start-up Greencitytrip now denies it will get ex-NS passenger coaches

An unexpected U-turn: Greencitytrip now denies working on a deal for 75 passenger coaches from NS, Treinreiziger reports.

On 24.08.2023, we reported that about an article on Handelsblatt.com: Hotels on rails are in demand but uneconomical. TUI nevertheless believes it can make money with them – and wants to reach new customers. Its partner, Dutch start-up Green City Trip, has just decided to buy many second-hand passenger coaches.
