Pesa of Poland continues its Gama Marathon production for rolling stock pool company Rail Capital Partners (RCP). A brand new and unmarked locomotive in the colours of the operator was spotted recently on tests.
On 05.04.2023, Eric Sinnema (check out his Trainspo profile) observed a factory-new Pesa locomotive of the 111Ed-020 subtype (with Last mile diesel) on a trial run between Bydgoszcz and Laskowice Pomorskie. While the locomotive had no numbers, its distinctive livery shows that it is one of the vehicles being delivered to RCP, a company in which Pesa itself has a 51% stake.
