[UK / Expert] Orion set to start high speed logistics with multiple units

Orion High-speed Logistics, a subsidiary of  Rail Operations Group (ROG), is set to start its first freight services between the Midlands (England) and Glasgow (Scotland). Nothing special, right? Well, Orion will use repurposed multiple units to transport light consumer freight.

ROG wants to tap into the market for express freight and light parcels, which have a total value of around GBP 17 billion (EUR 19,6 billion), as 5 billion parcels are delivered in the UK every year.
