In the recent years, Ljubljana’s Central Workshops has become increasingly interesting for foreign customers, especially owners of electric and diesel locomotives, who are looking for maintenance services close to the network where their locomotives are operating.
The facilities are full on a daily basis – the red locomotives of Slovenian Railways are accompanied by their colorful colleagues of private operators. In this article, Railcolor News pays special attention to MRCE’s Class 189 revisions carried out in Ljubljana.

As mentioned above, modern electrics are not new to Central Workshops Ljubljana. Vectrons are often serviced there, with wheel flange and advertising sticker application being some of the diverse activities carried out. The client portfolio includes operators such as Adria Transport, MRCE, PPD, InRail, FUC, CFI. In this article, we will focus on MRCE, which has increased its visits to the workshops.
