On 31.07.2020, Trenitalia and Lego Italia officially unveiled a Rock regional train at Roma Termini station, dedicated to Super Mario Bros, a new product line by the Danish toy manufacturer.
The so-called ‘Super Mario Train’ has a white livery which depicts characters from Lego’s Super Mario World: the mustachioed plumber, his faithful adventure companion Joshi, and historical enemies such as the Goomba mushrooms.
The train with this particular livery is ETR 521 n.038 delivered only weeks ago, which is now in use on line FL1 between Orte and Fiumicino Airport.
