Railcolor News recently showed you the new TRAXX AC3 for LNVG > Metronom and explained why these locomotives are equipped with four pantographs instead of two. Now Bombardier announces that the two newly-assembled locomotives are ready to head to Görlitz, where the manufacturer produces its double-deck trains for example.
Now we can see both electrics on order by Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG). 147 543 and 544 side by side in front of Bombardier’s factory in Kassel.
Our new #TRAXX AC3 locomotives for #LNVG are now fully assembled at our site in #Kassel and will soon move to our site in #Görlitz, for tests with our double-deck coaches. Have a nice trip! #TogetherWeMove #rail pic.twitter.com/dJeVxct9Vg
