[IE / Expert] Iarnród Éireann to extend its IE 22000 DMUs with additional cars

At the end of October, a previously proposed purchase of 41 extra cars for Iarnród Éireann (IÉ)’s Class IE 22000 has been approved. The additional rolling stock will be used to increase the capacity of the operator’s existing DMU fleet across the Greater Dublin Area rail network.
