Another two locomotives fell into the pot with red paint of DB Cargo Italia. After the repainting of all Nordcargo 483s and 474 201, this time, the all-white 189 822 and 823 had their turn.

E 189-822 and -823 are two ES64F4 type locomotives with a curious history. Both started as a Siemens-locomotive, back in 2011, for sale but ending up being a rental for quite some years. You may remember E 189 822 from its time with the Steirmarkbahn; it had green company-specific logos from 2013-2017.
