We did not want to keep this from you. Last week we mentioned the EuroSprinter demonstrator ‘127 001-6’ in our modern locomotive Dessau report. Yes, the locomotive is sidelined for quite a while now. No, the locomotive is not forgotten; it is being taken care of in Dessau. It has its original paint scheme back and currently looks like this:
The last time we saw 127 001-6 was in March 2018. Back then, it already had its pink/silver paint scheme back. Now we see the machine with logos and markings, including the coat of arms of ‘Werner von Siemens’. Only the front numbers still need some attention; the black number should be silver and in the DIN 1451 font.
