Over the past year, Stadler Rail has delivered four more Eurodual locomotives to the German HVLE. Unlike 159 001-010, these newbies feature the cab with the friendlier, more neutral Stadler family face.
The 159 011-014 arrived in Germany in grey, and HVLE took its time to decide which decals would be applied to these units.

159 011 – standard orange details
This locomotive has the same decals as the locomotives leased from ELP:

159 012 – double logo + big tiger
Machine 012 got its stickers in 2 steps:

159 013 with a unique orange gradient rock design
For 013 and 014, HVLE went all out. Both locomotives are fully wrapped, with a stone-like pattern as the base, similar to the one used on older 159s. Each has a different colour gradient.

The mercenaries
A small detour at the end—HVLE has now also taken rental locomotives from ELP into service. The 2159 219, 223, 244, 246 are white, with HVLE having the roof sections painted orange and orange lettering applied. There’s also a small tiger decal and an extra sticker to attract new staff.
