Between 2006 and 2017, Bombardier had a DC-only version of its TRAXX 2E locomotive platform in production, aiming at DC-markets such as Italy, Spain, and Poland. Two of these locomotives were delivered to Polish freight operator Pol-Miedź Trans (PMT).
