Fabian Duddeck a.k.a. Nürnberg Verkehr reports about the newly painted VT628 903 in NAH.SH Corporate Design: DMU no. 628 903 / 629 003 of NEG Niebüll now appears freshly painted in a striking blue as part of the new NAH.SH corporate design. This vehicle represents the ongoing repainting of all rail vehicles in Schleswig-Holstein. The photo shows the freshly painted railcar against a rural backdrop during its transfer journey from Regensburg to Nuremberg, near Pölling.

The VT628 903 / 629 003 spent nearly three years in Vienna at the Vienna Rail Maintenance Support for a major inspection, where it received its new NAH.SH livery. It is expected to strengthen the NEG fleet, particularly as the IC through coaches are phased out.

Until 2021, VT628 903 / 629 003 ran for DB Regio in the standard traffic red livery in the Saarland region. It is one of the very units of its type delivered with two motorised cars.
