Stadler Rail and ELP have announced the delivery of EuroDual no. 2159 264. This locomotive will play a pivotal role in the Transflex product, designed to provide tailored solutions for customers’ specific needs in spot traffic. While primarily focused on operations within Germany, provided by MEV Eisenbahn-Verkehrsgesellschaft, cross-border transport to Austria is also an option. Operating under the motto “Your Spot Transport on Rail,” the Transflex initiative emphasizes customized transport solutions.

Using ELP EuroDual locomotives, RCG wants to achieve long-term cost efficiency.

The new locomotive’s livery closely matches ÖBB’s 1116 023, 1116  077, and Alpha Trains 185 632. On December 4, 2024, Rail Cargo Group also announced the addition of 185 608 to the Transflex fleet.
