Müller Technologie from Frauenfeld is developing the Aeam 841 tribrid locomotive. Railcolor News announced this project back in 2021. They take existing SBB Am 841 diesel locomotives, which are increasingly falling out of favour and then combine the existing hardware with new technology. The result is the Müller E+De+B tri-mode locomotive, a Swiss contribution to achieving the Swiss government’s Climate Strategy 2050.
