June 2026. Less than two years away. That month, Landesnahverkehrsgesellschaft Niedersachsen (LNVG), Bremen, Hamburg and the Hannover region wants to have two operators ready to take over the ‘Hansenetz’ network in the north of Germany. Who will take over from Metronom?
