03.07.2012, Sergio Pininfarina, who led the growth of the famous design company between 1961 and 2001, died in Turin. The company in question is Pininfarina, active in the automotive bodywork sector, founded in Turin in 1930 by Battista Farina, also known as ‘Pinin’ in the Piedmontese language, becaus of his resemblance to his father, Giuseppe.
