[locomotive] Another batch of Transilien Prima locomotives for sale

Of the 67 locomotives built, 24 have found a new purpose. We are talking about SNCF’s BB 27300s, which were used for Paris suburban services. 

  • Beacon Rail decided to get twelve: 27301, 04, 05, 08, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25.
  • SNCF Infra uses another twelve: 27302, 03, 06, 07, 09, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22.

This leaves 27310, 27326-27367 unused or soon to be unused. On agorastore.fr, 18 locomotives have been put up for sale in May 2024:

  • 27310, 26-39, 42-44

frenchrailwayssociety.org mentions 27341 this month: It has been assigned to the AEF pool (l’Agence d’Essai Ferroviaire) for transferring new rolling stock.
