Belgian infrastructure manager Infrabel operates a fleet of 81 locomotives on the Belgian rail network. Due to maintenance, overhauls, breakdowns, and the gradual equipping of locomotives with ETCS, no full fleet is available. Additionally, the needed capacity fluctuates throughout the year.
