They will come in different flavours – the Stadler KISSes for ÖBB. The first one is stracciatella with blood orange – the CityJet KISS. 62 units are on order for ‘local transport’. On 24.04.2024, the first completed train travelled from St. Margarethen to Erlen for commissioning. ÖBB also announces that its KISSes will be on display during Innotrans 2024.

The CityJet orders:
- 08.03.2022: Framework order for 186 KISS double-deck EMUs – Total volume around EUR 3 billion;
- Base order 2022: 1st order: 20 six-car + 21 four-car EMUs for regional traffic (Cityjet brand);
- 11.05.2023: +21 four-car EMUs (value EUR 243 million) – Cityjet – delivery before 31.05.2027;
The CityJet KISSes will come in two variations: four- and six-car EMUs:
- 42x Class 4734 = four-car EMU > 318 seats + 53 tipping seats = 106.94 m;
- 20x Class 4736 = six-car EMU > 518 seats + 73 tipping seats = 159.86 m
The number system per unit:
- 4734 101 = A/101 + G/301 + E/401 + B/601
- Class 4736 = A/101 + C/201 + D/301 + E/401 + F/501 + B/601
