At the end of January 2017, Ente Autonomo Volturno (EAV) received the first Alfa3 EMU to be used on the SEPSA, Cumana and Circumflegrea lines in the Campania Region. Testing started. Eleven more were delivered over the following years, and the fleet is set to grow further:
