VR Group of Finland has announced it has become the sole owner of the four high-speed trains formerly for the Allegro passenger services connecting Helsinki and St. Petersburg. The Class Sm6 EMUs were withdrawn in March 2022 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which made VR Grpup decide to terminate the interopable train service.
