In early 2023, GB Railfreight (GBRf) announced a new 10-year locomotive leasing deal with Akiem. As a result, 11 Class 66/77 diesel locomotives are moving from Continental Europe to the UK, where GBRf will use them for freight services. What is the current status of the project?
