Railcolor News has been closely following developments related to the EffiShunter 1000 deployment in Sweden – when it comes to tests and deliveries. Norwegian company Trainpoint will be leasing five such locomotives to Railcare. Now the latter says it is ready to begin operations, effectively becoming the first operator to use these locos in the Nordics.
