On 10.04.2021 the first 8-car ICNG trainset arrived in the Netherlands. Unit ‘3203’ entered the country via Bad Bentheim and was taken to Amsterdam-Watergraafsmeer depot.
Fifty 8-car units are on order, for domestic use, which will form series 3201-3250. It is not the first time an 8-car train is seen – unit 3301 (8-car for international use to Belgium) was already seen in 2020.
Remarkable: The new train has not yet received its blue/yellow pieces of vinyl – Alstom builds these trains in black/yellow – the final livery is added by using stickers.
